These logs still require drying as they are above 20% moisture content. They will need to be stacked in a log store that gets plenty of airflow and keeps the logs covered from the rain. Ideally you don’t want to stack the logs in a garage or shed as this will cause the wood to sweat and become mouldy and produce a damp smell.

If the logs are stored correctly they will be dry enough  to burn winter 2024, we advise you buy a moisture metre to be able to check the logs regularly. 

The logs are mixed with a majority of hardwoods with some variety of softwoods mixed in as well. 

The popular and convenient cage of logs can be delivered tipped out loose from our van or delivered on a trailer with a pallet truck and wheeled in an accessible location and this cage can be swapped each time you order

Surface must be level and smooth for the pallet truck, no grass, gravel or loose surfaces. Access must be a minimum of 120cm for the cage.
